Job Description:

RBW Consulting is seeking a Director of Clinical Development to join a mid-sized pharmaceutical client. The ideal candidate must be a Pediatric Hepatologist with at least 3 years of experience in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global clinical development operations.
  • Develop asset teams for new compound indications.
  • Provide medical and scientific input on product data.
  • Lead the Clinical Development sub-team.
  • Ensure compliance with GCP and ethical standards.
  • Manage cross-functional relationships.
  • Support multiple indications globally.

Main Duties:

  • Prepare and execute clinical trial documentation.
  • Oversee clinical trials for safety and efficiency.
  • Provide medical monitoring and support.
  • Maintain relationships with medical experts.

Education & Experience:

  • Medical degree (MD) or equivalent in life sciences.
  • At least 10 years of industry experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical drug development.
  • Experience in rare diseases or hepatology is preferred.
  • Proven leadership in projects and teams.
  • Objective-driven and solution-oriented.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a global matrix organization.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
