Qualifications

• MRICS qualified and experienced in business rates advisory
• Strong technical grounding across appeals, valuation and rating list strategy
• Comfortable operating at Director level, both client-facing and internally
• Wants to build something in Birmingham, not just maintain it
• Existing relationships advantageous but not essential; significant work ahead

Responsibilities

• Lead advisory on business rates across a broad range of commercial property types
• Collaborate with occupiers, landlords and investors on rating liability, appeals and empty rates mitigation
• Provide strategic advice around the rating list and grow the Midlands presence
• Mentor and develop junior surveyors, contributing to leadership across the team
