Job description

Valuation Advisory | London, United Kingdom | 21012183

Day to day responsibilities:

  1. Building client relationships and acting as a direct contact with current and prospective clients
  2. Providing insight and expertise on target industries, market, and competitor information
  3. Managing valuation modelling analysis, including determining appropriate valuation methodology and building and reviewing financial models
  4. Identifying and communicating potential engagements to management
  5. Supervising and mentoring staff on analyses, reports, and presentations
  6. Driving insight through data analytics
  7. Gaining exposure to transactions on buy and sell sides, financial planning & analysis, restructuring, strategic decision support, and data analytics
  8. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in a STEM subject) or relevant work experience
  9. Possession of an accounting or other financial professional qualification
  10. Proven experience building and reviewing financial models in Excel and VBA
  11. Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing client relationships and mentoring staff
  12. Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
  13. A passion for learning and evidence of self-directed study in technical subjects
  14. Broad sector experience is desirable, with Private Equity, Infrastructure, Renewables, and Financial Services being a plus
  15. Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  16. Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, SQL Server, and Python is advantageous
