The role of Director, Business Development at Fidelity Digital Assets℠ involves achieving sales goals by onboarding institutional clients to our custody and execution services. The position reports to the Head of Business Development, Fidelity Digital Assets℠ Europe. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Shaping go-to-market strategies and developing sales channels.
  2. Developing strategies to monetize distribution channels.
  3. Identifying opportunities and managing deal execution.
  4. Collaborating with product and strategy teams for product development.
  5. Representing market and customer voice across various departments.
  6. Building relationships within the digital assets and traditional asset management ecosystems.
  7. Understanding digital assets' disruptive value and developing thought leadership.
  8. Monitoring market trends, news, and regulations.
  9. Communicating effectively with diverse audiences.
  10. Fostering a results-driven environment.

Skills and Expertise:

  1. Proven success selling to large institutional asset allocators.
  2. Deep understanding of the EU asset management market; fluency in German and/or French is preferred.
  3. Ability to assess markets, form partnerships, and negotiate.
  4. Over 10 years of experience in financial services, preferably in UK and EU.
  5. Knowledge of cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and related technologies.
  6. Experience managing client pipelines and driving results.
  7. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  8. Proficiency with CRM and sales materials development.
