The Role

Fidelity Digital Assets℠ is seeking a Director of Business Development to achieve sales goals in onboarding institutional clients to our Enterprise-grade custody and execution services offerings. The position reports to the Head of Business Development, Fidelity Digital Assets℠ Europe. Responsibilities include:

  • Shaping go-to-market strategies and developing sales channels.
  • Developing strategies to monetize distribution channels.
  • Identifying opportunities, deal execution, pipeline development, and transaction structuring.
  • Collaborating with product and strategy teams on new product functionalities.
  • Representing market and customer voice across departments.
  • Building relationships within digital assets and traditional asset management ecosystems.
  • Understanding digital assets' disruptive value and developing thought leadership.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor models, and regulatory developments.
  • Communicating effectively with varied audiences about finance, cryptoassets, and blockchain technologies.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Proven success selling to large institutional asset allocators.
  • Understanding of the EU asset management market; fluency in German and/or French preferred.
  • Ability to assess market opportunities, strategize, and negotiate.
  • 10+ years in financial services, preferably in the UK and EU.
  • Knowledge of cryptocurrencies, blockchain, tokenized securities, and related technologies.
  • Experience managing client pipelines and driving results.
