Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Director-level leader to transform EMEA Bid Management into a centralized, disciplined command center for multi-million-dollar infrastructure bids. You will own the end-to-end bid lifecycle, establish rigorous gates, and drive a winning, customer-centric narrative across engineering, operations, finance, and legal.

Leading a team of Senior Bid Managers, Coordinators, and a Content/Knowledge Manager, you will ensure resource discipline, robust risk management, and alignment

Qualifications

• 10+ years of bid/proposal management experience, including leadership of multi-stakeholder pursuits.
• Demonstrated ability to implement Go/No-Go, Bid/No-Bid, and gate processes with executive visibility.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure bids (> $10M) and complex governance.
• Strong stakeholder management across five BUs and senior leadership.
• Fluent English, with additional European languages as a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and enforce bid governance, including Go/No-Go and Bid/No-Bid at all gates.
• Lead a centralized Bid Management command center for large projects.
• Drive winning narratives with storyboard-based content and cross-functional alignment.
• Coordinate mobilization readiness and functional sign-off before project execution.
• Develop and mentor Bid Managers, Coordinators, and Content/Knowledge roles.
