Job Description

We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Reporting Team in Birmingham. As a Director or Associate Director, you will lead operations and project integrations. You should have strong leadership skills and an appetite for Business Development to help build the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Co-leading our management team to project manage client work
  • Training and Development: Establishing structured training programs and providing feedback
  • Client Contact: Ensuring efficient, proactive, and timely client service; liaising with partners; adding value to client relationships
  • Technical: Overseeing financial reporting services under IFRS and UK GAAP, keeping abreast of standards and economic changes
  • Financial: Managing departmental financial performance, fee structures, WIP, and debtor management
  • Business Development: Preparing proposals, attending marketing events, and developing opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Significant experience in financial reporting within professional services under UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and industry specifics
  • Experience with businesses of various sizes, including international groups
  • Team management and motivation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in business development activities
  • Understanding of staff skill requirements and organization
  • Monitoring financial performance at team and client levels

Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA)
