Summary of Role

The Director, Asset Project Management, will partner with the Senior Director to lead cross-functional project management for Asset Programs, ensuring successful achievement of program goals. This role involves implementing a standardized project framework, utilizing enterprise tools, and maintaining consistent practices, communication, and risk management.

This is a site-based position requiring presence on-site three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to align resource allocation and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with Asset Program Lead to develop and execute integrated project plans.
• Apply project management frameworks and tools, including dashboards and reporting mechanisms.
• Manage cross-functional teams to develop operational plans supporting Asset Program objectives.
• Facilitate collaboration, monitor progress, and address risks and issues proactively.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and prepare reports for leadership.
• Lead governance meetings, promote best practices, and resolve conflicts.
• Mentor team members, foster team spirit, and uphold safety standards.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of program management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in drug development, regulatory, or clinical areas.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Expertise in project management tools, strategic thinking, and leadership of large teams.
• Strong understanding of drug development processes and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence in a matrix environment.
• Proven track record of strategic planning and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
