  • Develop and implement asset management strategies for long-term financial and operational impact.
  • Identify and document complex requirements, issues, risks, and opportunities throughout project lifecycle stages.

You should be well-versed in technical areas, have experience with significant budgets, asset lifecycle management, and major tendering processes. Your ability to build effective partnerships and influence stakeholders will be crucial for success in this role.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following :

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Strategy, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • Extensive industry experience in asset management and public transport.
  • Strong understanding of the public transport sector and Victorian Government context.
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure an exceptional collaborative customer-focused experience.
  • Demonstrated alignment with V / Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.

This is a 2-year fixed-term position based in Melbourne, with a significant focus on asset performance and strategic project management. If you are ready to drive innovation and transformation within a leading transport organisation, we encourage you to apply.
