Job summary

Novo Nordisk in London seeks a visionary leader to own AI platform strategy, architecture, and operating model across R&D and enterprise. You will build foundations that enable scientists, data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to accelerate drug discovery and clinical development through scalable, compliant, and responsible AI.

Qualifications

• Experience leading global teams in AI/platform engineering.
• Experience building and operating enterprise AI platforms, advanced compute, or storage at scale.
• Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own AI platform vision, architecture, roadmap and operating model.
• Define enterprise standards for GenAI, MLOps, foundation models and responsible AI.
• Drive adoption across R&D, pre-clinical, clinical, and business functions.
• Lead architecture and engineering teams responsible for AI/ML platforms, data platforms, AI infrastructure, cloud platforms and Kubernetes.
• Deliver secure, scalable AI services across cloud, hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Design and operate GPU, HPC infrastructure for foundation-model training and inference.
• Establish AI governance frameworks and compliance in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
