Job summary

Milltown Partners LLP is seeking a Director-level of leadership to shape strategic communications for technology, policy, and investor audiences in London. You’ll lead high-stakes client work, guide senior teams and help scale our AI-enhanced advisory capabilities.

You will build advisory relationships with C-suite leaders, oversee major campaigns, and drive new business opportunities while upholding our values of brilliance and integrity. The role offers a hybrid office model across London.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate communications experience in consultancy or in-house roles, including time in technology space.
• Proven ability to develop research-driven communication strategies that influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience building advisory relationships with C-suite leaders and delivering strategic counsel in high-pressure situations.
• Track record of developing media strategies and managing relationships with senior editors.
• Experience leading competitive pitches and new business conversations with demonstrable results.
• Strong grasp of AI tools and their application in advisory work, with ability to drive adoption across teams.
• Entrepreneurial networking skills and commitment to inclusive culture.
• Excellent command of written and verbal English.
• Experience advising on AI policy, technology regulation, or emerging technology challenges.
• Existing network within technology, policy, media or investor communities in London.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships at the highest level and shape strategic direction for major tech and AI assignments.
• Structure teams for success, set priorities, and coach to deliver brilliant work independently.
• Drive AI-enhanced advisory capabilities and promote best practices across the firm.
• Identify and convert new opportunities, lead competitive pitches and expand existing client work.
• Shape firm culture through feedback, collaboration and inclusive leadership.
