Job summary

Lloyd’s, the world’s leading insurance and reinsurance marketplace, is seeking a Direct Tax Manager in London to lead UK corporation tax compliance, reporting and governance for the Corporation of Lloyd’s, its UK subsidiaries and the international network.

You’ll own direct tax obligations, manage Pillar Two and Country-by-Country reporting, and provide clear commercial tax advice to senior stakeholders while coaching two team members. ACA/CTA or equivalent qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing UK corporation tax compliance and reporting.
• Broad understanding of international direct tax matters.
• Ability to explain complex tax matters to non-tax audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accurate delivery of UK corporation tax returns and payments.
• Coordinate Pillar Two, Country-by-Country Reporting and Corporate Interest Restriction.
• Manage group tax reporting, including provisions and disclosures.
• Maintain governance and controls across direct tax processes.
• Provide commercially-focused tax advice on projects and transactions.
