They wish to appoint a Direct Tax Manager with responsibility for providing valued added expertise in financial and tax reporting services to other Business Units within the group.

Your new role

As an in-house Direct Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising the direct tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing and reviewing tax returns
  2. Ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws
  3. Providing strategic tax planning advice
You will work closely with various departments to support business operations and contribute to the overall financial strategy.

What you'll need to succeed
  1. Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA)
  2. Proven experience in direct tax accounting within a global business environment
  3. Strong knowledge of international tax regulations and compliance
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  6. Sound working knowledge of ERP systems and consolidation tools
  7. Experience in a SOX-environment
  8. SAP experience
