We are seeking a Direct Payments Assistant to join the Adult Social Care Finance team, which supports individuals who have opted to arrange their own care through direct payments. The team collaborates with community teams across East Sussex County Council and handles a customer telephone line, assisting both internal teams and the public.
As a Direct Payments Assistant, you will provide office support to ensure the correct processing and monitoring of direct payments. The team offers advice and guidance, serving as the main contact point for direct payments, including managing the adult social care systems, helpline, and email inquiries.
