Direct Marketing Manager

Salary: £47,000
Contract: Full-time, 12 month mat cover
Location: London Hybrid

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Direct Marketing Manager to join the wonderful team at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home on a 12-month maternity cover contract, and play a pivotal role in implementing their new fundraising strategy and lead the Cash & Raffle programme.

As Direct Marketing Manager, you will deliver effective operational management of the direct marketing programme, developing donor retention methods, as well as identifying and testing new opportunities. You will also manage the DM team, setting objectives and identifying development opportunities to help the team fulfil the requirements of their role.

Battersea are entering an exciting phase of innovation and transformation as they launch their new fundraising strategy, which has seen increased investment in income generation – an exciting opportunity to step in and be a part of the growth and get creative to develop the programme.

To be a successful Direct Marketing Manager, you will need:

1. Experience planning and delivering direct marketing campaigns
2. Significant experience of data segmentation & analysis to make data-led decisions
3. Specialist knowledge of donor acquisition and retention across a range of channels, including direct mail
