This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
We are looking for motivated and passionate professionals to join as a Security Technician in the SSG’s Scotland Team based in Rosyth. You will work on technically sophisticated projects protecting UK Defence and Government sites. The role involves working from home and traveling between various sites. A non-liveried company vehicle will be provided for regional work, with optional personal use.
Responsibilities include serving as a point of contact for customers, maintenance and installation, participating in an on-call rota, system checks, estimating costs, ordering materials, providing technical assistance, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring safety and administrative compliance.
37 hours per week, typically 08:00-16:00, with opportunities for overtime and travel. Potential for short-term overseas assignments and support roles in other UK regions. Allowances are provided for travel outside core hours, on-call duties, and out-of-region work.
Desirable memberships: Engineering Council, Security Institute. Security clearance required; successful candidates will undergo vetting. The role does not sponsor visas.
