Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting our technology, from laptops and mobile devices to meeting room technology and printers. You’ll be based at our Andover site, but you’ll also support users across the UK, helping to keep our people connected and productive.
You’ll learn how to troubleshoot problems, install and upgrade software, support hardware, and work on exciting IT projects, all while studying towards a recognised qualification.

The Digital Workplace Engineer plays a key front-line role in delivering exceptional on-site IT support across a diverse technology estate. Our Engineers are central to ensuring devices run at peak performance and that service levels are consistently met or exceeded. From installing and upgrading hardware and software to diagnosing and resolving issues, while providing friendly, hands-on IT training and guidance to our workforce
On completion of the 18 month apprenticeship program you will have achieved a Level 3 Information Communication Technician qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing first and second line support to colleagues using laptops, desktops, company mobiles, and other workplace technology
  • Learning how to install and configure devices for new starters, supporting inductions and making sure users get up and running smoothly
  • Assisting in managing IT assets, keeping records up to date and equipment well organised
  • Helping maintain meeting room tech and company mobile phones
  • Working with experienced engineers and support teams to solve technical issues
  • Supporting software rollouts and technology upgrades
  • Developing documentation to help users understand their tech
  • Being a friendly and helpful face of IT for our UK colleagues

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • GCSE or equivalent in:
    • English (Grade 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent
    • Maths (Grade 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent
    • Sciences (Grade 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent
    • Please note that if you have not yet finished your GCSEs, any offers of employment will be contingent on obtaining the above successful grades or retaking these qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.
  • A genuine interest and curiosity towards IT and technology
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful nature
