Skipton Building Society is seeking a talented and driven UX Design Specialist to enrich our dynamic team. Joining our collaborative User Experience Design Team, a vibrant group of 6 UX Design Specialists, a forward-thinking Service Design Lead, 3 insightful Customer Journey Specialists, and 2 dedicated User Researchers.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital products. Your expertise will ensure these products are not only intuitive and accessible but also evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of our members. What Will You Be Doing?

• Design end-to-end user journeys, from research and analysis to high-fidelity designs and user stories.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product launches and enhancements.
• Conduct competitor analysis and utilise user insights to drive design decisions.
• Contribute to Agile development processes, ensuring designs are accurately implemented and tested.

What Do We Need From You?

Proven experience in UX design for web and mobile applications.

• Proficiency in design tools (eg Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design, accessibility, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience contributing to product development.
• Ability to translate user needs and business goals into effective design solutions.
