What you will enjoy doing

  • This is an exciting role that will shape CustomerEngineering Services (CES) future way of working, reporting into the Digital Transformation Manager within our Business Management function
  • Youwill identify and deliver digital business improvement initiatives andensure that the business can meet the short- and medium-term organisationalperformance goals
  • Monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of processes, you will identify areas forimprovement & make recommendations – you will question the status quo,streamline and / or eliminate ineffective processes
  • Youwill be directly involved in the delivery of digital projects, responsible for implementingless complex initiatives and for more complex initiatives acting asa key conduit between CES, the process automation team, IT and otherdigital departments
  • Theinitiatives will provide a range of benefits for BOC, CES colleaguesand our customers including efficiency and productivity, meeting changingneeds and expectations, growth, Safety Health Environment and Quality (SHEQ) or regulatory compliance. Someinitiatives may span across multiple teams and departments
  • Furthermore, you will develop and deliver training on digital tools and share best practice with the business
  • Youalways have the user and customers at the heart of any development. Youwork collaboratively with local and global peers, other internal functionsand external providers to select and develop the best, lean solution tomeet the specific need

  • You possess a digital mindset, and proven experience inidentifying and delivering digital solutions and enhancements toprocesses, systems and tool with a business setting
  • In addition, you easily see opportunities and can quantify, capture and presentvalue, and once you have developed the business cases you enjoyprioritising a portfolio of initiatives
  • You are an independent thinker; able to effectively questionstakeholders and status quo
  • Strong change management skills are necessary; the ability tomanage change effectively across all levels of the business & the ability toeffectively influence across peers, seniors, and the wider organisation isexpected
  • Lastly, you have experience working in a technical, engineering, or operationalenvironment advantageous, as is experience with agile way of working
