Through the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Programme, Kiverco Ltd, in collaboration with Queen's University Belfast, invites applications for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate in Engineering, Science, or IT who is eager to apply their skills to real-world challenges and contribute to the company's ambitious growth plans.

This innovative project focuses on leveraging advanced digital twin technology to transform the performance of bespoke recycling plants. By optimizing plant design and enhancing manufacturing efficiency, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable solutions and meeting customer demand for exceptional material purity.

The position is based at Kiverco Ltd, a leader in designing and manufacturing recycling plant solutions for processing, separating, and recovering waste streams. As part of a highly skilled team, the candidate will directly contribute to Kiverco's vision of delivering the "World's Toughest Recycling Plant" with unparalleled uptime, sustained purity, and longevity. This global business has installed over 350 recycling plants worldwide, and this role will directly support Kiverco's mission to innovate and grow internationally.

Applicants will benefit from hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and collaboration with experts from Queen's University Belfast.

About the person:

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

  • Hold or be about to obtain (by July 2025) a university degree (minimum 2.1 classification, with a 2.2 classification acceptable if candidate holds an MEng degree or an alternative relevant postgraduate qualification) in an Engineering/Science/IT discipline such as Mechanical/Manufacturing/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Strong analytical skills and significant experience in problem-solving, which may include academic projects, placements, or previous employment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of digital technologies and relevant experience of using digital tools such as CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), data analysis platforms, and/or AI systems.
  • Relevant experience of executing and managing engineering projects. Experience can be evidenced through completion of a module, academic research project, student placement, or practical work during employment or internships.
