An established industry player is looking for Digital Trainers to enhance the digital skills of their workforce. Following the success of a trial of a team of digital trainers to support extensive programmes of work to digitise frontline functions, a permanent team of 3 Digital Trainers is being established.
This exciting opportunity will result in a Digital Trainer within each of our operational service areas, supporting both corporate and frontline staff to make best use of the systems made available to them.
Improving the digital skills of the workforce will have a direct positive impact on productivity, efficiency and effectiveness in using digital solutions and the implementation of digital solutions in the future.
Technology continues to evolve rapidly and is ever present in our daily activities, therefore the demand for a workforce who have the required digital skills in order to operate effectively is also increasing.

The new team will need to be proactive, engaging with end users to identify gaps in knowledge and skills and developing bespoke materials or providing adhoc training as required, in demanding operational environments.
North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed. We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
