Key Responsibilities
- Full accountability for driving digital sales through strategic planning, initiative building, and operational management of digital fascias.
- Develop and execute campaign, brand, and promotional strategies, collaborating with digital marketing, commercial, and optimization teams to improve conversion rates and sales KPIs.
- Manage daily trading and execution across multiple websites, ensuring targets are met through detailed analysis and action plans.
- Oversee reporting of trade metrics, analyze seasonal sales patterns, and maintain awareness of competitors and customer behavior.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to plan the digital trading calendar and oversee on-site promotions and content activities.
- Define and manage long-term trading strategies, considering design and functionality enhancements, and contribute to product development and UX roadmaps.
- Work with marketing teams to align product and trading strategies with digital marketing efforts across channels.
- Collaborate with optimization teams to support customer journey improvements and campaign success.
- Ensure asset performance is monitored and assets are optimized for commercial impact.
- Coordinate content development to enhance SEO, engagement, and conversion.
- Improve product content processes and resolve issues swiftly to maximize sales.
People Management
- Demonstrate strong leadership and extensive people management skills.
- Set clear objectives, goals, and development plans for team members.
- Build an effective, motivated team working collaboratively towards shared goals.
- Contribute actively to the digital strategy and represent the Digital Trading Team across the business.
- Ensure digital KPIs are understood and achievable within the team.
Qualifications
- Valid UK work rights.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, Contentsquare, and Excel.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms.
- Proven track record in managing both incremental improvements and strategic projects to grow sales.
- Experience in team management and development.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and independent.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar digital role within retail or consumer brands.
