This position is based at our Head Office. You must live within a reasonable distance to the office or be willing to relocate by the role commencement date.

Job Purpose:

As the Digital Trading Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the category performance of our UK web channels, including TheToyShop.com, ELC.co.uk, and Amazon. Your main objective will be to implement the digital trading strategy at a category level to drive sales growth.

You should have a background in e-commerce, having worked in a similar role within a retail business. A solid understanding of digital trading, proficiency in Excel and Google Analytics, and preferably some experience with Amazon. This is a commercial role, requiring you to be a strategic thinker, analytical, and comfortable working with financial data and digital insights.

Skills & Experience:

• Trading and commercial acumen with at least 1 year’s experience in a retail/e-commerce buying/trading role.
• Detailed understanding of ecommerce, with hands-on experience of merchandising, customer journeys, digital marketing and web analytics.
• Analytical with strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
• Experience of using Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a category to support the delivery of the digital trading strategy and budget for UK digital channels, including TheToyShop.com, ELC.co.uk, and Amazon.
• Analyse and report on daily, weekly, and monthly performance, drawing insights and making trade suggestions to drive growth. You should be comfortable presenting findings in meetings and via email to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the Buying, Merchandising, and the logistics teams to manage the digital trade calendar, product launches, stock levels and pricing.
