ACS International Schools are recruiting a Digital Teaching and Learning Specialist to join our Hillingdon campus from August 2025.

Are you passionate about empowering educators and students through purposeful, innovative use of technology? We are seeking a Digital Teaching and Learning Specialist to champion digital learning across our school, supporting transformative teaching and impactful student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance Teaching & Learning with Technology

  • Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver tech-rich learning experiences
  • Model and support the use of school-wide digital platforms and tools
  • Coach educators on digital pedagogy, innovation, and classroom integration
  • Pilot emerging technologies and help scale successful tools
  • Support cross-curricular initiatives aligned with NEASC ACE Learning Principles

Lead Professional Learning

  • Organise and deliver workshops, coaching sessions, and learning communities
  • Align training with school priorities and teacher goals
  • Promote best practices based on ISTE Standards for Educators and Students
  • Conduct action research to support evidence-based decisions
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure effective use of technology infrastructure
  • Guide teachers and students in maximising the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Communicate clearly with parents about digital learning strategies and platforms
  • Support hybrid and remote learning environments/ scenarios

Champion Online Safety

  • Lead school efforts in promoting safe, responsible technology use
  • Represent the school in the wider Online Safety Group
  • Support parents in navigating digital safety at home
  • Organise awareness events and implement the school’s Online Safety Policy

You’ll work alongside:

  • School Leadership, Heads of Department, and Peer Learning Leads
  • IT Support & Solutions Teams
  • EdTech Innovation, LMS, and Professional Learning Leads across the group

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of educational technology and digital learning strategies
  • Experience in coaching or training educators
  • Familiarity with ISTE Standards and instructional design principles
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams
  • Passion for innovation, student engagement, and digital citizenship

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Teaching qualification, with specialised training or credentials in educational technology and/or extensive experience with educational technology integration in international school settings
  • In-depth knowledge of school IT products and systems, in Microsoft, Apple and hybrid environments (certifications preferred)
  • Familiarity with contemporary assistive technologies for students with special education needs
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, across a range of purposes & media
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and collegiality
  • Understanding of change management and technology adoption
  • Knowledge of curriculum, instructional methods, and adult learners
  • Ability to coach and mentor, and deliver high-quality adult learning
