Job description


We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiasticDigital T Level Lecturer0.5 FTE to deliver teaching and learning on ourDigital T Levelcourses.

As a Lecturer Digital T Level, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in computer science and digital technology to students aged 16-19. You will guide students through their T Levelqualifications (Digital Production and Digital Support Services) providing support and guidance as they develop practical skills and knowledge relevant to the digital sector.

The ideal candidate will have a good passion for computing and will help all students understand the important role that the subject plays in all of our lives whilst also developing young professionals for the future.

Working closely with the Director of Learning and the rest of the team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with students to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will act as a personal tutor giving pastoral care, promote attendance, support students to attain suitable work placements, participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A teaching qualification (ideally at Level 4 and above)
  • A minimum of level 3 ICT qualification (though a degree in ICT would be highly desired)
  • Industry Experience working within the ICT sector
  • Previous, relevant FE teaching experience delivering on Digital T Level courses
  • Experience in a tutoring role, providing pastoral care in the FE sector
