Job summary
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Digital Support Worker to join the Hepatology team on a fixed-term basis. You will monitor and book surveillance for Hepatology patients and support the multidisciplinary team with clinical workflows.
The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Health and strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills, with flexibility to work shifts. This is an NHS trust committed to development, with opportunities for training and career
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Health or equivalent.
- Numeracy and literacy at level 2 or above.
- Proficient in hospital IT systems and clinical workflows.
- Experience in a caring role in a healthcare setting.
- Understanding of acute hospital environment and SHCA role.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload.
- Flexible and able to adapt to shift patterns.
- Interest in digital/IT and willingness to train.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and book surveillance for Hepatology patients using My Medical Records.
- Work as part of the Hepatology Team to support patient care and clinical processes.
