• LOCATION: London - TVC
• PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: Up to £35,000 (Full Time Equivalent) plus £5,441 London Weighting depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Excellent proofreading and sub‑editing skills, with outstanding spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to editorial accuracy and consistency.
• Demonstrable experience applying editorial standards, style guides or quality‑control processes.
• Strong research and fact‑checking skills, with the ability to investigate and verify information independently.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Previous experience in subtitling, transcription, captioning or similar editorial work.
• Experience using workflow or project management tools such as Monday.com.
• Experience working with digital asset management, file‑sharing or version‑control systems.
• Knowledge of BBC brands, content, audiences and the wider digital media landscape.
