Job description

Overview:

The Manager of Digital Strategy will be responsible for developing and implementing the digital strategy of Process Automation organization. This role involves identifying digital opportunities, creating digital transformation roadmaps, and ensuring that digital initiatives align with business objectives to drive growth and innovation. The Manager of Digital Strategy collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, product management, and operations, to integrate digital technologies and strategies into the company’s overall business plan. This does is not require to be based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with the Process Automation business objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize digital opportunities and initiatives to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Develop digital transformation roadmaps and implement best practices to drive change.
  • Implement digital transformation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT, marketing, product management, and operations teams to integrate digital strategies into the overall business plan.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the digital landscape.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform digital strategies and decision-making.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment with stakeholders throughout the digital strategy lifecycle
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics tools.
  • Ensure continuous improvement processes to enhance the effectiveness of digital strategies aligned to latest advancements in digital technologies & strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Deep understanding of digital strategy development, implementation, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, digital transformation, and emerging digital technologies.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term digital strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience in identifying digital opportunities and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing digital strategy challenges
  • Proficiency in digital strategy tools and software, such as analytics platforms, CRM systems, and project management tools.
  • Experience with digital marketing technologies, data analytics, and digital transformation tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing digital strategy team.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with other senior executives.

Education & Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field is typically required. Many Directors of Digital Strategy also hold advanced degrees such as an MBA or a master’s in digital marketing or information technology.

Professional certifications such as Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) can enhance a candidate’s credentials.
