A leading marketing and communications firm in the City of London is seeking a strategic leader to develop and guide digital branding initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams and create innovative strategies to enhance client engagement. Candidates should have a strong understanding of technology's role in brand experiences and customer journeys. This position offers a permanent contract in a progressive work environment.

Main duties of role: You will develop digital strategy solutions to brand and design challenges as well as focusing on opportunities to embed digital and technology-led thinking and processes. Based on experience, newly uncovered research, or through collaboration and co-creation, you will be responsible for developing new creative approaches to the application of technology and its potential to enhance the brand experience and drive innovation into our processes and solutions. You will synthesize key inputs (client briefs, research, background materials, analytics, etc.) to develop strategic solutions concisely and articulately.
This role is to focus and guide the integration of physical and digital brand-building across the entire customer journey. From initial brand strategy and identity development through to the brand experience touchpoints. It will require a very strong strategic thinker who enjoys the challenge of creating simple solutions to complex challenges and has a strong understanding of the opportunities that technology provides, both within the brand experience and across the agency operating model.
We are looking for a strategic leader who is capable of empowering cross-functional teams to develop inspiring and scalable technology innovations and experience strategies for clients.
The ideal background for this candidate will be a proven working history & deep knowledge in technology driven customer-journey innovation and experience design, with a strong business and operational backbone in how both B2B and B2C brands work, and psychological insight into how humans behave across digital brand ecosystems.
This role will involve managing design-thinking driven deliverables and workshops with diverse teams of client stakeholders (including C-suite) and internal and external contributors to co-create strategies that utilise technological innovations to increase customer engagement and improve customer experience – and in the end, the client’s bottom line.
