As a Security Specialist, you will build digital transformation security strategies with customers, collaborating across different groups inside the Customer environment to successfully enable them to be more secure. You will lead consultative customer conversations and collaborate on the planning, orchestration, and execution of end-to-end Security opportunities with internal stakeholders and partners to cross-sell and up-sell. This role offers flexibility to work up to 50% from home.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND extensive technology-related sales or account management experience OR extensive technology-related sales or account management experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (e.g., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND extensive technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND extensive technology-related sales or account management experience OR significant technology-related sales or account management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in conversations with customers aligned to their industry, collaborating with account and partner teams to drive and qualify new opportunities and build pipeline.
  • Identify customer business and technology readiness, proactively map stakeholders, implement strategies to accelerate deal closing, contribute to strategic planning, coach junior team members, and execute close plans.
  • Apply role orchestration models and navigate the Microsoft organization to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with Global Partner Solutions (GPS), identify new partners, develop joint proposals, and contribute to partner strategies.
  • Leverage and share competitor insights to inform pursuit strategies.
  • Lead customer and partner conversations, mentor others, develop best practices, and act as a subject matter expert in solution areas.
  • Analyze competitors and implement strategies to differentiate Microsoft solutions.
