Job description

Responsibilities
  • You will engage in conversation with customers aligned to their industry and collaborate with the account and partner team to drive and qualify new opportunities and build pipeline.
  • You will identify customer business and technology readiness, proactively build external stakeholders' mapping, implement strategies to accelerate deal closing, contribute input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities, coach junior team members in deal plan execution, and implement close plans.
  • You will apply the role orchestration model and navigate the Microsoft organization to deliver the best impact to the customer.
  • You will collaborate with Global Partner Solutions (GPS), identify new partners, develop joint proposals, and contribute to partner strategies.
  • You will leverage and share competitor knowledge across solution areas as a subject matter expert to inform pursuit or withdrawal decisions.
  • You will lead conversations, organize events within Microsoft, mentor others, develop best practice sharing strategies, and act as a subject matter expert in one or more solution areas.
  • You will collaborate with 'compete' SMEs internally to analyze competitor products and solutions, implement strategies, drive project execution, and work with other teams on related deliverables.
Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND extensive technology-related sales or account management experience OR extensive technology-related sales or account management experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration (e.g., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND extensive technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND extensive technology-related sales or account management experience OR significant technology-related sales or account management experience.
