Job description

Job Description

We’re passionate about using technology to drive sustainable solutions for our clients and society. You too? Join us as a Digital Skills and Capabilities Lead at Ramboll Tech and help us become the leading Tech-Enabled Partner for Sustainable Change.

We are building a digital-first culture at Ramboll where our people continuously adopt new technology and ways of working to be a truly tech-enabled partner to our clients.

The new Digital Skills and Capabilities Lead is accountable for contributing to this digital culture through targeted capability-building and learning initiatives, driving digital skill development, continuous learning, and digital capability mapping for our employees and leaders.

Collaborating and cocreating closely with HR, Tech, and other key stakeholders in the business, you will be our subject matter expert in:

  • digital capability development
  • identifying emerging digital skills
  • assessing digital proficiency requirements, and
  • advising teams and leaders on embedding digital-first practices into workflows and systems.

Together with your key stakeholders, you will foster a culture that supports the evolving digital needs of the business while ensuring employees are equipped with the necessary skills to thrive in a digital-first environment.

This role will join the leadership team in the newly formed Digital Employee Journey division in Ramboll Tech, which brings together product design, user experience, digital adoption, digital workplace and employee support capabilities. Our mission is to deliver an efficient and enjoyable digital employee experience for Ramboll’s 18000 colleagues.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and HR to align digital skills and capabilities initiatives with overall organizational strategy.
  • Assess organisational readiness for adoption of new technology and digital ways of working using digital skills assessments, career development frameworks, and competency models in collaboration with HR, Tech and the business.
  • Develop initiatives for ongoing upskilling and reskilling of employees to meet the demands of new technologies and ways of working and implement the initiatives in collaboration with HR and Tech (e.g. in-product training, communities of practice, etc.).
  • Develop digital and AI literacy training programs at scale for all employees and/or targeted groups in collaboration with HR and other enabling functions.
  • Track and measure the impact of your work in collaboration with your stakeholders.

You will help shape this role and we value your ideas on how to make it a success.

HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED IN YOUR ROLE

  • You are experienced developing and driving successful digital skills and capabilities programs to enable digital transformation at scale in a large organisation. Ideally in the AEC field but experience driving similar programs for knowledge workers is also relevant.
  • Tech-savvy and continuously learning about new digital products and platforms and able to role model the behaviours of a “digital bright mind” at Ramboll.
  • Being the subject-matter accountable for producing strategies, plans, and content to enable digital skills and capability building at Ramboll – and knowing when and how to engage your HR, Tech and business collaborators in the processes (we will make sure you meet all the right people when you start!).
  • You understand how to build strong working relationships across the business and how to effectively manage various stakeholder demands. Can independently drive cross-functional initiatives and demonstrate ability to influence stakeholders confidently and collaboratively.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You enjoy finding solutions (based on data where possible) and helping others find solutions too.
  • You are fluent in English and communicate clearly with all your stakeholders in meetings, presentations, and in writing.

We encourage you to apply even if your profile does not meet all the requirements for the role. We are looking for a diverse range of experiences, skills, and interests to enrich our team.

WHAT DEFINES US: CURIOSITY, OPTIMISM, AMBITION, EMPATHY

Our team at Ramboll Tech is currently on a steep growth trajectory while maintaining a strong team culture and delivering solutions to our colleagues and clients.

  • We are curious about other people and their motivations; about new business models and technologies; about each other and the future.
  • We are optimistic, focusing on solutions rather than problems; we plan for success and are willing to take calculated risks instead of playing it safe.
  • We are ambitious, setting our own standards higher than others’ expectations, and we celebrate each other's successes.
  • We are empathetic, taking ourselves, others, and each other seriously without prejudgment, and we help each other and our clients, colleagues, and the world.

HOW WE WORK AS A TEAM

Our team culture is crucial to us; that's why we take time daily to exchange ideas and discuss our work priorities. We support each other when facing challenges and foster a strong team spirit. We aim to learn and grow continuously from one another. We value diversity, and although we're not perfect, we regularly engage in open discussions about how we can improve in this area.

Our current hybrid work approach focuses on adapting to different needs, including increased flexibility that works best for our global teams and individuals, with as much autonomy as possible.
