Leonardo UK seeks Digital Engineers at multiple levels to join our hardware team across the UK, focusing on cutting-edge RF systems for defence applications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, test and integrate high-performance digital electronics and RF components.

Qualifications

• First or second degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (preferable) or related science (e.g. Physics).
• Experience with analysing system level requirements documents and applying them to hardware designs.
• Ability to break down and solve complex technical challenges and visualise wider system context.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed digital PCBs using FPGA, microprocessors and high-speed interconnects.
• Support full hardware lifecycle from requirements through design, testing, and delivery.
• Fully document work products under configuration management and report progress.
• Collaborate with Systems, Mechanical and Software Engineers to develop digital architectures with SWaP focus.
• Develop electronics through full lifecycle from concept to main product design, build, test and integration.
