Leonardo UK Ltd. seeks Digital Engineers across multiple levels to join our hardware team shaping defence technology in the UK.

You will work on the design, test and integration of RF and digital electronics across product lines, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance and reliability, with a focus on SWaP and system-level optimization. We value candidates with degrees in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and a proven ability to analyse requirements, design high‑speed

Qualifications

• First or second degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or related science).
• Experience analysing system-level requirements and applying to hardware design.
• Ability to break down and solve complex technical challenges and visualise system context.
• Experience in developing digital electronics including DSP, firmware, and mixed-signal.

Responsibilities

• Design high‑speed digital PCBs using FPGA, microprocessor and high‑speed interconnects.
• Support full hardware lifecycle from requirements to delivery to customer.
• Document work products and manage configuration; collaborate with Systems, Mechanical and Software teams.
• Develop electronics from concept through prototyping to main product design and system integration.
