A regulatory agency in healthcare is seeking two Digital Project Managers to lead and manage digital projects. Responsibilities include overseeing project delivery, designing project structures, and managing stakeholder engagement. Candidates must have a relevant degree or equivalent qualifications, experience in digital IT projects, and strong financial management skills. Two Digital Project Managers are required to join the Delivery function within the Digital & Technology group. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) enhance and improve the health of millions through regulation of medicines and medical devices. The Digital and Technology Group (D&T) delivers optimised IT infrastructure and secure data use to enable scientists, inspectors and the organisation to deliver world class services and improve outcomes for patients and the public. The Delivery function provides a Delivery Centre of Excellence to drive digital and technology-based change to deliver minimum viable products (MVP) and continuous improvements, managing all stages of the product development and implementation lifecycle, including business case creation, benefits realisation planning and risk management.
The post holders will lead and manage digital & technology projects and project teams on a day-to-day basis, driving delivery to achieve objectives within agreed time, cost and quality constraints. They will contribute to project governance and stakeholder engagement, ensuring outputs are delivered and reported using the Agency's project and portfolio management (PPM) tools, with appropriate controls to enable benefits realisation. Projects may follow waterfall and/or agile delivery methods as appropriate.
