Job description

The Projects Team manages and delivers IT projects within both national and local programmes of work and EPR / Business Programmes.

It is an exciting time to be part of the digital transformation within UHP and Devon as we approach the implementation of a full Electronic Patient Record across Devon. This will bring new benefits to all users and patients across our diverse county spanning 3 acute Trusts.

The scope of projects varies depending on the needs of the Trust and its aligned partners, and can range greatly in scope and focus.

Project Managers directly control a number of projects, some of which may be complex and large-scale, but all focus on the operational delivery of efficient, effective patient care.

This role will support the delivery of the EPR across all locations in Devon and will be based out of the digital team in Plymouth.

Where possible, there is potential for this role to become permanent, subject to funding and support.

The role will focus on key deliverables within an identified workstream of the EPR Programme and will require a rapid understanding of technologies and operational behaviors to ensure timely delivery of tangible outputs for all stakeholders.

Project planning and delivery are key activities, and building strong relationships across specialties and Trusts is paramount. Due to the county-wide environment, attendance at face-to-face meetings in various locations will be required.
