Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Digital Programme Manager to lead a complex M25 DBFO digital programme within the Business Planning and Performance department. Responsibilities

  • Development of a Programme Mobilisation Pack, including programme charter, roadmap, governance model, and initial controls framework.
  • Production of an Asset Management Systems strategy, including options analysis and recommended target state.
  • Definition of a delivery approach and integration considerations across systems and stakeholders.
  • Development of an Outline Business Case, including costs, benefits, risks, and a benefits realisation approach.
  • Preparation of executive briefing materials to support decision-making.
  • Design of programme reporting and control frameworks (including financial and progress reporting templates).
  • Facilitation of stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops and structured engagement to support alignment on programme direction leveraging inputs from individual projects.
  • Adherence to the technology project delivery methodology, including development of key project artefacts.
  • Management of all commercial processes in conjunction with the CPS commercial team.
  • Regular updates on progress made and status reporting to the Head of Business Transformation and the Digital and Data Delivery Lead.
  • Capture, measurement and tracking of key project benefits in conjunction with the Finance team.
  • Reporting at key governance forums on progress made, such as the CPS Change Board.
  • Identification, reporting and tracking of project risks, issues and dependencies.

Job Description Overview

Digital Programme Manager to work under the Business Planning and Performance department in the Digital and Information Team for the M25 DBFO - supporting the delivery of a complex programme of digital changes. Management of several tactical digital projects as part of the programme.

Deliver the Programme of work in line with a structured methodology for technology projects on the M25, reporting progress, risks and issues to senior stakeholders and developing, managing and tracking the programme plan. Ensure that the programme progress is tracked from a financial perspective. The main focus of delivery for this role is the re-platform of our Asset Maintenance and Operations systems and implementation of associated integrations. This is a wide ranging and exciting undertaking for the company and one which will transform how the business operates.

Your role

Development of a Programme Mobilisation Pack, including programme charter, roadmap, governance model, and initial controls framework.

About you Essential

Successfully managing Programmes with multiple tactical projects.

Identifying and capturing programme benefits.

Status reporting on programme delivery.

Engaging programme level stakeholders.

Working to programme and project lifecycle and developing key documentation.

Deep experience in the end-to-end delivery of Digital Programmes including requirements capture, systems configuration, integration, testing and deployment.

Programme shaping and business case development.

Desirable Understanding of the Highways industry.

Interdependency identification and tracking.

Experience of application of AI within operational systems architecture.
