Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom is seeking a Digital Programme Manager to lead the M25 DBFO digital change programme within the Business Planning and Performance team. You will drive end-to-end delivery, align initiatives with governance, manage risks and financial tracking, and report to senior stakeholders.

The role focuses on re-platforming Asset Maintenance and Operations systems, delivering integrations, and shaping the programme through a robust delivery methodology and benefits

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a complex digital programme for the M25 DBFO.
• Prepare mobilisation pack, including charter, roadmap and governance.
• Define asset management systems strategy and target state.
• Design delivery approach and integration considerations.
• Develop Outline Business Case with costs, benefits, and risks.
• Prepare executive briefing materials for decision-making.
• Create programme reporting and control frameworks (financial & progress).
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and engagement to align direction.
• Adhere to technology project delivery methodology and artefact development.
• Manage commercial processes with CPS commercial team.
• Provide progress updates to Head of Business Transformation and Digital Delivery Lead.
• Track and report key project benefits with Finance.
• Report progress at governance forums (CPS Change Board).
• Identify, report and track risks, issues and dependencies.

Job description

Digital Programme Manager to work under the Business Planning and Performance department in the Digital and Information Team for the M25 DBFO - supporting the delivery of a complex programme of digital changes. Management of several tactical digital projects as part of the programme.Deliver the Programme of work in line with a structured methodology for technology projects on the M25, reporting progress, risks and issues to senior stakeholders and developing, managing and tracking the programme plan. Ensure that the programme progress is tracked from a financial perspective. The main focus of delivery for this role is the re-platform of our Asset Maintenance and Operations systems and implementation of associated integrations. This is a wide ranging and exciting undertaking for the company and one which will transform how the business operates.,

• Development of a Programme Mobilisation Pack, including programme charter, roadmap, governance model, and initial controls framework.
• Production of an Asset Management Systems strategy, including options analysis and recommended target state.
• Definition of a delivery approach and integration considerations across systems and stakeholders.
• Development of an Outline Business Case, including costs, benefits, risks, and a benefits realisation approach.
• Preparation of executive briefing materials to support decision-making.
• Design of programme reporting and control frameworks (including financial and progress reporting templates).
• Facilitation of stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops and structured engagement to support alignment on programme direction leveraging inputs from individual projects.
• Adherence to the technology project delivery methodology, including development of key project artefacts.
• Management of all commercial processes in conjunction with the CPS commercial team.
• Regular updates on progress made and status reporting to the Head of Business Transformation and the Digital and Data Delivery Lead.
• Capture, measurement and tracking of key project benefits in conjunction with the Finance team.
• Reporting at key governance forums on progress made, such as the CPS Change Board.
• Identification, reporting and tracking of project risks, issues and dependencies.

Essential

• Successfully managing Programmes with multiple tactical projects.
• Identifying and capturing programme benefits.
• Status reporting on programme delivery.
• Engaging programme level stakeholders.
• Working to programme and project lifecycle and developing key documentation.
• Deep experience in the end-to-end delivery of Digital Programmes including requirements capture, systems configuration, integration, testing and deployment.
• Programme shaping and business case development.

• Understanding of the Highways industry.

• Experience of application of AI within operational systems architecture.
