This position reports to

Head of DA Sales, UK

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for OEMs, Panel Builders, Consultants, End Users, and EPCs, focusing on sales and technical support of Digital Products and Digital Solutions. You will represent ABB’s Distribution Solutions Digital portfolio, including Relays, Automation Systems, and solutions, by providing customer product support, training, and internal/external sales support. The work model for this role is: Hybrid. This position contributes to the Electrification, Distribution Solutions UK Division. Main stakeholders include customers, Product Market Managers, Factory representatives, other Sales and Account Management teams, and other ABB divisions. Your main responsibilities are:

1. Providing onsite and remote support to customers for technical queries and issue resolution.
2. Contributing to the sales budget of the Digital Products and Solutions business lines.
3. Providing training on digital products, solutions, and portfolio internally and externally.
4. Engaging OEMs, End Users, EPCs, and Consultants to generate enquiries and convert them into key opportunities.
5. Liaising with Factory and Digital Excellence Center for commercial and technical support.
6. Developing innovative solutions to meet customer challenges and market requirements.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in digital support or sales, especially if experienced in implementing or selling digital portfolios. You will play a vital role in advancing our digital solutions, working with cutting-edge technology and a talented team.

Qualifications for the role

• Strong experience in Digital products, solutions, and Technical Sales Support within Distribution Automation and Apparatus.
• Knowledge of IEC61850 Protocols, SCADA, ABB Product Portfolio, and the Digital market.
• HNC or equivalent in Electrical Installations and Engineering or higher qualification.
• Current FULL UK Driving license.
• Good understanding of power system protection for electrical networks.
• Ability to program and upload relay settings to protection devices.
• Ability to design programmable scheme logic for P&C configurations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
