Job Description:

The Digital Production Director is accountable for digital delivery excellence across our set of global clients who are seeking innovative experiential marketing solutions. Responsible for overseeing the agency’s digital operations, digital production function, and the programme management of the Lab, our innovation practice.

Our digital offerings include live-events, virtual events, screen-based content, VR experiences, AR storytelling, drone games, and snow machines. To stay at the forefront, we deliver technology-based experiences that raise industry standards, meeting growing client demand by championing purposeful and exciting work.

The Digital Production Director will help build a world-class experiential technology offering by combining experience, practicality, and passion for digital channels and technology. They will develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure efficient digital delivery and act as a key liaison between the agency and digital development suppliers, vetting capabilities, negotiating rates, and ensuring smooth processes.

Manage a team of freelance and permanent digital production experts, mentoring and supporting them to deliver digital projects effectively. Knowledge of digital delivery tools and attention to detail across projects are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent technical, digital expertise within the agency, understanding delivery processes for various platforms and technologies in live environments.
  • Build and maintain the digital supplier roster, vet suppliers, build relationships, define ways of working, and negotiate rates.
  • Collaborate with operations, creative services, and integrated production teams to refine workflows and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Oversee digital project management, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Define and realize the vision for the lab offering in collaboration with the Creative Technology Director, contributing to a market-leading innovation portfolio.
  • Ensure the lab is integrated into the agency’s culture and output.
  • Manage digital operations in the UK, including resource planning.
  • Ensure reliable and high-quality tech delivery.
  • Build trust with staff and clients by demystifying technology and demonstrating its tangible benefits.
  • Participate in the EMEA digital operations team, building relationships across regions.
  • Act as a point of escalation for digital initiatives needing support.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, engaging in challenging conversations when necessary.
