Job summary

Unum UK is seeking a Digital Product Owner to lead the backlog and roadmap for customer-facing platforms such as Help@Hand. You will drive Agile delivery, partner with Technology, Marketing and Operations, and translate customer needs into actionable features.

The role emphasizes ownership, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven decisions to improve digital experiences for users. Hybrid working options are available in Dorking/Basingstoke.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering digital products in an Agile environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Product Owner certification desirable (PSPO/CSPO).

Position: Digital Product Owner Location: Dorking or Basingstoke with hybrid working

What will you bring?

We are looking for a Digital Product Owner to take ownership of one of our key digital platforms – UnumSync, UnumOnline or Help@Hand. You’ll lead the product backlog, drive delivery through Agile teams and shape the future of our digital customer experience. This role will focus on our customer facing digital asset, Help@Hand, so experience as a Product Owner for applications within a consumer-focused environment would be a strong advantage.

What you’ll do

• Own and prioritise the product backlog and roadmap
• Act as the key decision maker for your product
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Technology, Proposition, Marketing and Operations
• Utilise date to translate customer needs into features and enhancements
• Lead Agile delivery, ensuring focus on value and customer outcomes
• Track KPIs and continuously improve performance

About you

• Experience delivering digital products in an Agile environment
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
• Customer-focused, proactive, and comfortable driving change
• Product Owner certification (PSPO/CSPO) desirable
