The Job

As a Digital Product Designer for the Discover & Explore Squad, you will have ownership of the guest experience and visual design. You will create inspirational storytelling experiences that showcase what our brands offer, bringing our proposition and services to life. The ultimate goal is to create products that people love through design and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and deliver the product experience for guests in their discovery and consideration phase, encouraging them to start the booking process.
  2. Build and maintain a design system of visual, reusable components and patterns to enable the team to release high-quality work efficiently and consistently.
  3. Create, own, and manage the product's Design Principles, Guidelines, and Design System.
  4. Lead and oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
  5. Provide implementation guidance to engineers and ensure features are launched at the highest quality.
  6. Lead and evolve design practices to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of delivery.
  7. Present designs, prototypes, and concepts to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Experience in digital design, ideally within the retail, entertainment, and hospitality industries.
  2. Customer obsession demonstrated through behavioral and digital research methods, with the ability to clearly articulate learnings and results.
  3. Visual design expertise in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetics.
  4. Effective collaboration skills within cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide goals.
  5. Experience in building, releasing, and maintaining broad design systems across multiple platforms, influencing business outcomes through effective communication and persuasion.
  6. Innovative end-to-end thinking focused on customer advocacy to generate new ideas that meet customer needs.
  7. Technical depth and problem-solving skills, with a desire for continuous learning.
  8. Data-driven approach, with confidence in presenting research and methods.
  9. Experience with Design Thinking frameworks to facilitate product discovery, design, release, and iteration.
  10. Proficiency with prototyping tools like Figma to demonstrate component, pattern, or interaction functionality.
  11. Working knowledge of Adobe Suite.
