We’re looking for a Digital Procurement Solutions Manager- CLM join us in London

As a Digital Procurement Solution Manager - CLM, you will be instrumental in Liberty Blume’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution. You will work in tight collaboration with cross-functional teams including Legal, Privacy, Security to ensure that CLM technology powering our solution delivers enhanced efficiency and compliance.

This role requires deep expertise in contracting processes for buy-side as well as sell-side, streamlining contract review and negotiation workflows, optimizing approval hierarchies, integrating contract lifecycle with PR to PO, in-life contract management (incl. renewal, termination, novation etc.) and obligations management as well as setting up contract analytics to enable valuable contracting insights. You will own contract-related backlog items across multiple solutions, ensuring prioritization aligns with other Digital Procurement Solution Managers to maintain a cohesive approach to contract lifecycle management across the entire ecosystem (incl. orchestration, autonomous sourcing and contracted pricing integration). In addition, you will closely collaborate with Legal and other adjacent functions to set-up and maintain clause library and availability of up-to-date templates timely refreshed to address evolving business objectives , maintain approval hierarchies and adjust as per the organization needs, draft and ensure execution of any contracting policies, procedures and guidelines.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, motivated and resilient, with demonstrable experience working within a

fast paced, demanding service design/delivery environment. Relevant experience gained from a commercial legal and/or a leading procurement technology company or a leading in-house procurement CoE team. Understanding of commercial legal terms is beneficial

What will you be doing?

  • CLM vision and strategy: Strategically define and evolve the CLM solution vision and roadmap in alignment with broader business objectives and key stakeholder requirements (i.e. Legal, Finance, Privacy, Security, Audit, Compliance). Architect the end-to-end contracting experience—across buy-side and sell-side—ensuring logical system integration, data flow consistency, and full lifecycle alignment from contract request through PR-to-PO integration, in-life contract management, and renewal or termination.

  • Clause and Templates Governance: Own and manage the CLM clause library and contract repository, and develop and maintain key contracting principles and playbook (i.e. “Golden Rules of Contracting”) partnering with Legal and other relevant stakeholders to ensure these are current, legally compliant, aligned with evolving business needs, and refreshed timely . Establish governance procedures for clause usage, template access, and update cycles to mitigate legal and compliance risk.

  • Contracting Policy and Process: Drive continuous improvement to streamline contracting processes, introducing innovative contracting practices (i.e. Fast Track SOWs). Draft, maintain , and ensure execution of global CLM policies, procedures, and guidelines, approval hierarchies and signature authorities, working closely with Legal, Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams. Promote consistency and standardization across contracting processes, while enabling flexibility where required by business model or legislation requirements.

  • Contracting Insights and Analytics: Establish and continuously enhance CLM analytics capabilities, including dashboards and reporting on cycle times, obligation tracking, contract utilization , expiry and renewal trends, and value realization. Partner with the Data & Insights team to build robust contract data models and enable predictive and actionable insights.

  • CLM Backlog Ownership and Configuration : Be familiar with leading CLM platforms and obtain relevant certifications to configure preferred CLM platforms independently. Translate business requirements into system configurations and lead functional testing. Own and prioritize the CLM solution backlog across multiple connected solutions and platforms. Collaborate with other Digital Procurement Solution Managers to deliver integrated solutions (incl. ERPs integrations) that enhance the broader procurement and commercial ecosystem, ensuring alignment in delivery and minimizing redundancy or gaps in functionality.

  • Client Enablement: Collaborate with commercial/pre-sales teams to design compelling solution proposals and implementation plans. Participate in client engagements, define best practices and support clients in implementation of those if requested .

  • Innovation and AI Enablement: Evaluate and support implementation of innovative technologies, including agentic AI, to enhance contract review, negotiation, risk flagging, and metadata extraction. Lead the functional design and implementation of intelligent contract features, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and deliver business value.

  • Change Management: Lead change management for CLM-related initiatives. Ensure high user adoption through effective communication, training, and stakeholder engagement. Develop and maintain up-to-date training materials, conduct briefings and demos, and facilitate feedback loops for continuous improvement.

  • Incidents/Issue Resolution: Alerted on critical incidents associated related to CLM operations, participate in defining hot fixes/workarounds for major faults with relevant technology partners.

  • Collaboration and Partner Engagement: Collaborate closely with industry technology partners, cross-functional teams, including LBPS delivery, strategy and other teams, Blume Technology, and Finance, Legal and other adjacent functions to ensure alignment and seamless contract lifecycle management practices.

We tend to look for people with:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in commercial law, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree (i.e. Master’s, LLM) is desirable.

  • Qualifications and/or experience in relation to project management/process improvement methodologies e.g. Agile, Lean Six Sigma preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong expertise in contracting processes (buy-side and sell-side), legal workflows, and negotiation practices.

  • Proven experience in a product owner, global process owner or similar role focused on procurement or contracting technologies.

  • Familiarity with contract analytics, obligations tracking, and integration with ERP and sourcing systems.

  • Hands-on experience with contract and procurement platforms (e.g., SirionLabs , Icertis, Ariba, Coupa, or similar)

  • Experience with AI/ML-based contract solutions and automation tools is highly desirable (e.g. GCP DocA I )

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions, excellent communication and social skills

  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including writing user stories, managing backlogs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
