Job description

We’re looking for a Digital Procurement Solutions Manager - CLM to join us in London.

As a Digital Procurement Solution Manager - CLM, you will play a key role in Liberty Blume’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Privacy, and Security to ensure that the CLM technology enhances efficiency and compliance.

This role requires deep expertise in contracting processes for both buy-side and sell-side, streamlining contract review and negotiation workflows, optimizing approval hierarchies, integrating contract lifecycle with PR to PO, managing in-life contracts (including renewal, termination, novation), obligations management, and setting up contract analytics for valuable insights. You will own contract-related backlog items across multiple solutions, ensuring prioritization aligns with other Digital Procurement Solution Managers to maintain a cohesive approach to contract lifecycle management across the ecosystem. Additionally, you will work with Legal and other functions to maintain clause libraries, templates, approval hierarchies, and contracting policies.

The ideal candidate will be hardworking, motivated, and resilient, with experience in a fast-paced, demanding service environment, ideally from a legal, procurement technology, or in-house procurement CoE background. Understanding of commercial legal terms is beneficial.

What will you be doing?

  1. CLM vision and strategy: Define and evolve the CLM solution's vision and roadmap in alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements. Architect the end-to-end contracting experience, ensuring system integration and data flow consistency.
  2. Clause and Templates Governance: Manage the clause library and contract repository, develop contracting principles, and establish governance procedures to mitigate risks.
  3. Contracting Policy and Process: Improve contracting processes, draft and maintain policies and procedures, and promote standardization while allowing flexibility.
  4. Contracting Insights and Analytics: Develop and enhance CLM analytics capabilities, partner with Data & Insights teams to enable predictive insights.
  5. CLM Backlog Ownership and Configuration: Configure CLM platforms, translate business requirements, and collaborate on integrated solutions.
  6. Client Enablement: Support solution proposals, participate in client engagements, and assist in implementation.
  7. Innovation and AI Enablement: Support the implementation of innovative technologies, including AI, to improve contract review and management.
  8. Change Management: Lead change management initiatives, ensure user adoption, and develop training materials.
  9. Incidents/Issue Resolution: Address critical incidents and define solutions with technology partners.
  10. Collaboration and Partner Engagement: Work with industry partners and internal teams to ensure seamless CLM practices.

We tend to look for people with:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Experience with project management methodologies like Agile or Lean Six Sigma.

Skills & Abilities

  • Expertise in contracting processes, legal workflows, and negotiations.
  • Experience as a product owner or process owner in procurement or contracting tech.
  • Familiarity with contract analytics and system integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms like SirionLabs, Icertis, Ariba, Coupa, etc.
  • Experience with AI/ML contract solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies.
