Job description

We’re looking for a Digital Procurement Solutions Manager- CLM to join us in London

As a Digital Procurement Solution Manager - CLM, you will play a key role in Liberty Blume’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Privacy, and Security to ensure that our CLM technology enhances efficiency and compliance.

This role requires expertise in contracting processes for both buy-side and sell-side, streamlining contract review and negotiation workflows, optimizing approval hierarchies, integrating contract lifecycle with PR to PO, managing in-life contracts (renewal, termination, novation, etc.), and setting up contract analytics for valuable insights. You will own contract backlog items across multiple solutions, ensuring prioritization aligns with other Digital Procurement Solution Managers to maintain a cohesive approach to contract lifecycle management across the ecosystem, including orchestration, autonomous sourcing, and contracted pricing integration. Additionally, you will work with Legal and other functions to set up and maintain clause libraries, templates, approval hierarchies, and contracting policies.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, resilient, and experienced in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with relevant experience from a legal, procurement technology company, or an in-house procurement CoE. Understanding of legal terms is a plus.

What will you be doing?

  1. CLM vision and strategy: Define and evolve the CLM solution vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs. Architect the end-to-end contracting experience, ensuring system integration and data flow consistency from contract request to renewal or termination.

  2. Clause and Templates Governance: Manage the clause library and contract repository. Develop and maintain contracting principles and the “Golden Rules of Contracting” in partnership with Legal and stakeholders, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with business needs.

  3. Contracting Policy and Process: Drive continuous improvement of contracting processes, introduce innovative practices, and maintain global policies, procedures, approval hierarchies, and signature authorities, ensuring standardization and compliance.

  4. Contracting Insights and Analytics: Establish and enhance CLM analytics, including dashboards and reporting on cycle times, obligations, expiry, renewal, and value realization. Partner with Data & Insights teams for data modeling and predictive insights.

  5. CLM Backlog Ownership and Configuration: Obtain certifications for leading CLM platforms, configure systems based on business requirements, lead testing, and prioritize backlog items. Collaborate with other Solution Managers for integrated solutions and ERP integrations.

  6. Client Enablement: Support pre-sales and implementation teams, design solution proposals, and assist clients during deployment.

  7. Innovation and AI Enablement: Evaluate and implement innovative tech, including AI, to improve contract review, negotiation, and metadata extraction.

  8. Change Management: Lead change initiatives, ensure user adoption through training and communication, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

  9. Incidents/Issue Resolution: Address critical incidents, participate in hotfixes, and coordinate with tech partners.

  10. Collaboration and Partner Engagement: Work closely with industry partners, cross-functional teams, and legal to ensure seamless CLM practices.

We tend to look for people with:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in law, business, supply chain, or related field. An advanced degree is a plus.

  • Experience with project management/methodologies like Agile or Lean Six Sigma is preferred.

Skills & Abilities

  • Expertise in contracting, legal workflows, and negotiations.

  • Experience as a product owner or process owner in procurement or contracting tech.

  • Knowledge of contract analytics, obligations tracking, and ERP integrations.

  • Hands-on with contract platforms like SirionLabs, Icertis, Ariba, or Coupa.

  • Experience with AI/ML contract solutions is highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Understanding of agile methodologies, including writing user stories and managing backlogs.

What’s in it for you?

  • Competitive salary + bonus (where applicable).

  • 25 days annual leave, with the option to purchase 5 more.

  • Wellbeing benefits, including mental health apps, medical, dental, and critical illness cover.

  • Matched pension contributions up to 10%.
