Job description

This role provides comprehensive administrative support to the Procurement and Asset Management Team at Powys Teaching Health Board, focusing on the operational management of digital assets. The post holder will maintain digital asset records, reflect amendments in asset lifecycle, and support organizational digital asset services. Responsibilities include configuration data input, quality assurance, and advising colleagues in using digital assets and procurement processes. The role involves working collaboratively with Support and Delivery colleagues to support service improvement projects and system development.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

  1. Provide advice on Digital Asset management policies and processes.
  2. Develop processes and work instructions related to digital assets and configuration management databases.
  3. Procure assets for users, liaising with budget holders, finance, and suppliers to ensure timely completion.
  4. Conduct asset and configuration audits to ensure accurate logging and deprecation in line with policies.
  5. Assist service users with digital assets, including printers, switches, servers, laptops, and peripherals.
  6. Support digital transformation initiatives and system development projects as part of a flexible team.
Additional Information
