Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is seeking an experienced Digital Press Operator to join a busy print production environment in Sheffield. The role focuses on operating and maintaining digital presses to ensure high-quality, on-time production.

You will work with HP Indigo Series 4 and Ricoh Pro 9210/9500 equipment, applying attention to detail, carrying out routine maintenance, and supporting the broader production team to meet daily targets.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Operate digital printing equipment, including HP Indigo Series 4 and Ricoh Pro 9210/9500 presses.
• Ensure all work is produced to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to maximise press uptime.
• Minimise waste, monitor reprints, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Support the wider production team to achieve daily targets.

About You

• Knowledge of HP Indigo and/or Ricoh digital print equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Experience within a fast-paced print or packaging environment is advantageous.
