How do we do it? By combining both media intelligence and data science, along with constant experimentation, we create solutions that will drive the biggest impact.

But none of this works without exceptional people – which is why we put talent first, always. Training, progression, and opportunities to learn are baked into how we work. We want our people to feel happy, supported, and inspired.

Exceptional company culture isn’t an add-on at ROAST – it’s the engine. It powers everything: creativity, collaboration, retention, results. We’re proud of the culture we’ve built, because it’s authentic and intentional. Rooted in shared values, not just surface perks.

ROAST have created a place where people belong, grow, and do their best work – together.

The role

Digital PR is a new venture for ROAST. This role will see you leading the Digital PR team from the pitching process and strategy right through to execution and campaign evaluation. The ambition is to build out a full Digital PR service, working closely with, and complimenting, our SEO and Content propositions.

Responsibilities
  • You will take the lead on the strategic direction of ROAST’s Digital PR offering while overseeing and executing deliverables of key client accounts.

  • Meeting with clients to discuss strategy, execution, and results of the digital PR campaigns you have executed.
  • Work with and support the Head of Organic Performance in developing new processes around team management.
  • Work with and support the Head of Organic Performance in developing the ROAST digital PR proposition.
  • Managing campaign strategy and delivery, from ideation to reporting.
  • Perform quality outreach over multiple channels, including phone and email, leading to demonstrable results against campaign KPIs.
  • Work alongside copywriting, strategy and design teams to keep projects running to time, assisting in the creation of timelines and milestones.
  • Craft outreach strategies, creating multiple press angles for different press demographics.
  • Develop and maintain strong personal relationships with key publishers across target media demographics.
  • Identify publishers through social media/link analysis, use of journalist databases, real engagement with online communities and attending industry events.
  • Maintain and develop press and media contact database, as well as creating relevant contact lists for client campaigns.

Growth & New Business

  • Assist in preparation of pitch responses, including RFIs, RFPs, commercials and pitch presentations.
  • Work with Planning, Client Services and existing clients to identify opportunities to incorporate Digital PR strategies into our work.
  • Attend industry conferences as a representative of ROAST.
  • Contribute to ROAST’s marketing efforts including thought pieces, industry commentary and event speaking opportunities.
The candidate

Experience

  • Experience of working in an agency environment.
  • Experience of line management and team building, including recruitment and staff development.
  • Experience of managing multiple workflows and projects, with both external (client) and internal stakeholders.
