Job description

  • Contract: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months
  • Salary: Up to £24,000 per annum
  • Work Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 9am until 5:30pm.
  • Working Policy: Flexible hybrid-working policy, with a minimum of two days a week from our Chester head office.

About The Role

This role supports the SEO team by executing outreach activities that help grow the backlink profile and brand visibility of Sykes Cottages and its associated brands. The Digital PR and Outreach Executive will focus on delivery—managing existing relationships, acquiring new links and sponsorship opportunities, and supporting campaign execution under the direction of the SEO Manager.

Your Responsibilities

As Digital PR and Outreach Executive, you will support the delivery of the following areas:

  • Execute outreach campaigns to acquire backlinks and sponsorships as directed by the SEO Manager
  • Manage and maintain existing outreach relationships with publishers and brand partners
  • Identify and contact new link and sponsorship opportunities using tools such as Buzzstream
  • Support the creation and sending of outreach emails using pre-approved templates
  • Track and report on outreach performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and relationship status
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with campaign goals and brand messaging.

Essential Experience:

  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Organised and able to manage multiple outreach threads simultaneously
  • Some understanding of SEO and the role of Digital PR and Outreach in search performance (training provided)
  • Proactive and eager to learn from senior team members.

Although standouts will also have:

  • Comfortable using outreach tools (e.g. Buzzstream) and spreadsheets.
