Job summary

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an experienced Digital Portfolio Manager to shape national and regional digital initiatives. You will lead a portfolio spanning AI, cloud strategy, LIMS rollout, and regional Genomic Medicine priorities.

You will work with NHS partners to deliver a digital roadmap and deliverables across the NEY Genomic Medicine Service, supporting data, informatics, and strategy at scale.

Qualifications

Masters level or equivalent qualification in IT, business, health or related field.
Experience delivering digital/IT change programmes in large organisations.
Experience with NHS data, information governance and security.
Ability to communicate to senior managers and clinicians.
Knowledge of governance, policy development and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage a large portfolio of IT projects and programmes.
Provide strategic direction for operational and project-led services across the Trust.
Lead Project Management and Business Analysis functions and report to NEYGMS Director.
Ensure timely production of programme status reports to senior management.
Collaborate regionally and nationally across Genomic Medicine Service network.
